Alexis was looking for a bike that was performance orientated but still had a sole to it. He is a big powerful rider so we chose a mixture of tubes including oversized Columbus spirit and Reynolds 953. The front triangle is all made from Columbus spirit with a tapered headtube and integrated headset. This allows a larger headset bearing leading to stiffer handling of the bike. The rear triangle is Reynolds 953, along with a chainstay bridge to stiffen up the this area for better power transfer.

The paintjob was designed to show off the frame’s constuction and material choice to the full with panels of exposed stainless steel framed with a classic white and blue combination.

In the last couple of months has been ridden hard by Alexis in the UK, Europe and South Africa. Alexis says the bike still gives him a smile on his face every time he goes out on a ride.
