Mark

The bikes that we’re commissioned to make that have a clear purpose often end up as the best. Mark’s bike is the epitome of this. From the start he was clear he wanted a performance bike that fitted him perfectly, made from an oversized Reynolds 953 tubeset and for the aesthetic to be as clean as possible. A straight 44mm headset supports an ENVE fork with a 1 1/4″ bottom bearing for direct steering feel.

Running the brake cable internally and integrating the pinch bolt into the seat stays removes as much visual “fuss” from the bike’s silhouette as possible. The components were chosen for the best performance and minimal branding, with us even painting out the Chris King logos on the headset (sorry Chris!)

A Mercedes Benz silver was chosen as the main frame and fork colour, with a flat red (matched with a poppy!) for the logo. We were all really pleased with the way this one turned out; there’s just something about it that’s so “right”
