Martin
Stainless steel Road Bike

Martin wanted a stainless steel road bike which would put his carbon frame in the shed for good. Fitment is important for Martin. We partered with Cyclefit to achieve the perfect setup. In designing Martin’s stainless steel road bike, we chose a position which would be comfortable and forgiving on the road beneath him, but still be responsive enough for him to drop any wheel-suckers at his will.

We chose stainless steel for its durability and for its stiffness. We used oversized tubing, again for its stiffness and for Martin’s height.

Martin was intricately involved in every step of the process and every decision about the build. His interest in the process and his attention to detail really made him a pleasure to work with. I felt very happy seeing Martin ride his Saffron for the first time.
