The latest build to leave the workshop is this stainless steel disc road bike for Richard. The brief was for a pure road bike capable of accepting 30-32mm tyres for poor British roads, all the modern features with a classic look.
We achieved the clean look and feel by sticking with round tube profiles, none too oversized and a considered and simple colour scheme. The Brooks helps too.
The paint scheme for this build is cool and classic. The colour is a candy “Burple” which looks either navy blue or purple depending on which way the light shines on it.
It’s an all stainless steel build so both sets of stays were polished and then brushed as was the downtube logo with the polished headbadge which all ties in nicely with the silver Chris King components to create this ultra classy build.
