Rick has a mixed road surface that he uses to get into the city. We Have used a mix between a cyclecross and and road geometry to achieve a stable yet quick ride. We have used oversized tubing as Rick is over 6ft tall. We used a 44mm headtube to fit a tapered fork to give it a very positive steering. Disc brakes were chosen as there was occasional over road usage.

The paint scheme was decided by the colours of the …… cycling club he founded. Rick was a pleasure to work with and had a clear idea of what he wanted but left it up to us to work with those directions and create the design. Rick was very interested in the build process and even came in the day before we sent it off to paint to help clean up the bottle bosses. Ricks reports after daily use says it’s still smooth and hit all the objectives we set out to achieve.
