Established by Framebuilder Matthew Sowter in 2012 in London, England, Saffron Frameworks is an industry leading bicycle maker with a reputation for crafting the very finest stainless steel and steel bicycles. Considered design is at the heart of what we do, understanding the connection between physiology and technology, every one of our bikes is made to measure and made by hand for each individual rider. Each of our models has been carefully designed down to the smallest detail using all of our years’ experience in maximising performance for our rider’s needs. They represent the ultimate in utility, aesthetics and performance for the riding style and conditions they are made for.
The process for making each bike always starts with the rider. We get to know all of our riders individually, understand and appreciate their experience, their aspirations and their style. Only then do we design and engineer the perfect solution to their riding needs. Calling on over a decade of experience in designing and creating beautiful, high performance bicycles, we use our expertise to define the length and angle of every tube to suit each rider’s specific fit and riding needs.
Our bikes feature the latest technologies in materials and manufacturing and are crafted using the skill and care of traditional methods in tandem with the newest in precision fabrication. Through this, we impose no limitations on our ability to create truly unique bikes, perfectly tailored to their use whether high performance, all-day comfort or off-road versatility.
