Full Custom
For the rider who wants something completely unique or just can't quite find what they're looking for on the market, we offer a full custom service. Starting from the ground up, through communication and consultation, we work to understand our riders unique circumstances and riding needs and with their input, design a bicycle solution that is perfect for their riding demands and aesthetic tastes.
Saffron custom bikes are available in stainless steel, steel, or a mixture of the two with integrated carbon fibre upgrades available. We've a wealth of experience designing, making and riding all disciplines of bicycle made from a variety of construction methods and styles. If you have an idea for a bike that you can't find in our custom collection models or elsewhere, this is the option for you.
Built for you
Built for racks or racing, with rim brakes, disc brakes or no brakes, for trailers or winter trainers, we start the process by listening to what you, the rider, needs. Whether it's via meeting in our London workshop or an international phone call, we will use these consultations to inform the choices of tubes and frame parts needed to build your perfect bike.
Configuration
Once your frame geometry has been designed, a component consultation is available where we discuss which components would work best on your build. We can supply finishing kit components from a wide variety of manufacturers and will help you select parts to complement your build and ensure you’re in the best position. We can supply most pre-built wheels but we also work with an excellent wheelbuilder who can build you the perfect set by hand.
Paint Design
For single colour schemes, there are a vast array of available paints and finishes that we can acheive. A reference image or a particular colour of a car that you like is all we need to match it. If you are looking for something completely unique, we also offer a full custom paint design service. This involves a consultation with our in-house designer who can take your inspiration and turn it into a one-off, full custom paint design.
