Joe Burt
Mountain bike

Joe Burt’s 29-er. Joe Burt likes pink. What more can I say.
I built Joe a 29-er which is made from a Reynolds 931 stainless steel tubeset which I partnered with Reynolds to design. It is the first 29-er specific 931 tubeset created by Reynolds. Joe wanted an off road machine with a very responsive ride. So we kept the suspension short and the head angle steep to give a more twitchy ride. When Joe climbs he likes to hang his backside over the back of the saddle so we have a 74 degree angled seat tube. The seat tube and seat post are integrated made from carbon with a very wide diameter for an extra stiff ride. All the cables are internal. To stiffen up the front end we’ve used a 44mm head tube.
