The strive is our made to measure mixed material roadbike model. Still custom which is made perfectly to your fit you but we have taken care of the tube choices.

Made of a unique combination of steel, carbon fibre and stainless steel, we believe this mixed material design is the best possible road bike you can ride. If you look closely, it doesn’t appear intricate or far out, it looks clean and unified, even with a more profiled tubing and geometry. We create an ideal fitment with the goal to get you, the rider, into the most efficient and aerodynamic position possible. It is stiff in the right places for power transfer; comfortable due to the carbon seat tube and the option for 28mm tires. We’ve made no compromise on materials or fabrication and we don’t need to show it off, with two paint scheme options or a fully-custom paint available. Designed for a very specific purpose: this will be your most memorable, important bike that keeps up with lightweight carbon even in racing conditions.

Frame details

Our in-house designed and handmade integrated carbon seatpost provides the comfort that’s expected of a Saffron bike, and reduces weight. Our choice of a 30mm diameter tube provides the perfect balance between ride, comfort and weight.

Thoughtful and intelligent use of stainless steel is on show throughout. The stainless steel chainstays remain naked on the drive side so you don’t have to worry chipping paint, and are the stiffest and lightest to delivering excellent power transfer.

Stainless steel is also used in the bottom bracket to ensure longevity, as water drains through and won’t rust. Bottle cage bosses, dropouts, internal routing, the brake bridge and headtube reinforcement rings are all stainless steel to stop corrosion in these exposed areas, meaning you can focus on riding your bike instead of worrying about maintenance longer term. Our Saffron in-house designed dropouts feature replaceable hangers for the ooopsie moments.

The pencil-thin seatstays reduce weight and give the bike an elegant silhouette when viewed in profile.

Downtube: D-shaped down tube is extremely strong, gives the strength of a smaller diameter tube, and so saves weight whilst delivering stiffness and power transfer.

The in-house designed and made headtube means the fork flows into the frame, rounding out a clean, elegant look.
